Reggie, my Jackson's and Trogdor the adorable K. multi both HATE being caged. I had them spending as much time as possible free ranging but they still had to spend time being caged due to having to share free ranging time with each other and other chameleons.
Since they are both very easy going I wondered what would happen if I put them together. They took to each other right away. After seeing how well they did and how happy they were uncaged I put together a larger free range for them both so they can free range on a permanent basis.
They aren't always near each other - they are both wander all over the free range - but I think it's so cute when they sit near each other.
