My new Baby Panther!!

Hello all I just got my very tiny boy this morning and he is doing great. He is definitely not a fan of being watched so I've been checkin him out from the side of his tub. He has already drank and then I saw him sitting on his branch with one back leg cocked to the side and I was tryin to figure out what was up then I realized he was just poopin. Cutest poop I've ever seen. Just a minute ago a house fly flew into his bin while he was gettin some UVB, bad news for the fly! I haven't picked a name out for him yet, any suggestions? He came from Chameleons101.com and his dad is Slick. I can't wait till he gets some color in!

might want to put a few layers pf paper towel in the bottom making clean up alot eaiser...Congrats to your new baby

Yup already learned the paper towel lesson immediatley after the first misting when some fruit flies drowned.

You should be careful with letting him eat random houseflies, with an open top it is really unavoidable but just make sure he doesn't eat too many of them. I'm only saying this because they usually have parasites due to the nature of their diets. If he likes flies you can get them super cheap from mantisplace.com The blue bottle flies are good for chameleons, they may be a little big for him as they are 3 times the size of a housefly though. You can also just get cultured house flies from different places and smaller chams love them and you don't have to worry about them carry parasites or different bacteria as well.
