My new chams home!!

My name is Brian and I'm new here. Just picked up my panther cham, Gizmo, today! I've been working on his cage for a couple of weeks now and today Gizmo found his new home. Here are a couple of photos of his cage and him.

Your new cham looks great and the enclosure looks awesome. Where was he purchased from?

I just noticed you have a red heat lamp in addition to the normal incandescent bulb. Generally its not needed and you want to make sure it doesn't get too warm in there.

To start you cant ditch the red light, not neccesary unless your temps drop really low, like<55degrees.
2nd: Im pretty sure Gizmo is a she

Yea, the red light was left over from an old lamp. I used to have frilled dragons years ago. I've since replaced it. Thanks for the advice though! Can anyone confirm if Gizmo is in fact a male or female by the pic?

I would give that GIRL a shower and get a dripper going to get her drinking. Then go to the pet store and slap the person that sold you what you thought was a male.

haha well looks like I'll be raising a baby girl then! Yea, I noticed that too when I got her. I've got a mist king setup and a drip system and "she's" been drinking and loving the water since she got in her cage

Awesome cage! I like how you used live plants with some branches at the bottom where as some people only put fake stuff at the top and leave the bottom empty
