Hey everybody. I am new to this site and just got my first chameleon. She is a female veiled. I named her Gary Lazereyes. I didn't know it was a female at the time. So the name stays. I bought her from petsmart and the lady that sold her to me didn't know what she was talking about and said you couldn't tell the sex until they were adults. After reading a forum I found out about the spurs behind the males back feet and she didn't have any. That's how I found out she was female. After reading further into female chameleons. I found out that they lay eggs whether they are fertile or not. And they need an egg laying bin. I was worried I would miss the signs so I decided to keep a bin in here cage at all times. When I bought a bin big enough for here to lay her eggs in it took up half the space in her cage. I did some brainstorming and decided to get a cheap table from goodwill and cut a hole in it so the pot can recess into the table giving much more space in the cage. It was a success in my opinion. What do you guys think?
