i can make you one for a fee .......lol im gona start making more just like this and they will be cheaper than buying a cage that size...plus i really enjoyed making it for my chams i feel like a proud daddy lol

That's great practicality. Way to improvise & recycle something & make it useful! Looks pretty cool too.

"What's on TV honey?"

"Chameleons!!!!" :D

cool! i took an old wood boxed tv that didnt work and turned it into a cage for one of my leopard geckos. i made it so it looks like it has not been messed with, i have had people go into my room and wonder why they cant turn the channel! lol

Nickolas the new cages look great. i will offer a couple of my ideas if I may. I can't improve on the cages as they are awesome, but I would forget the night lights as veiled need completed darkness when sleeping and a night time drop in temps is good for them. I would also switch who get the bigger cage. Male veiled are a lot bigger than females and usually have the larger cages. My males seem more active as adults than the females. Those are only my ideas.

Again great job & welcome to the forum. Where are you located?

Now there will always be something on TV worth watching :)

Nice idea! Make sure you've cleaned out all the nasty chemicals (such as lead) associated with electronics manufacturing.

ok i will take your opinons into consideration i live in lakewood washington....the only reason i have the female in the bigger side cage is i have to put a 5 gallon bucket in there for her egg laying site the smaller cage does not fit the plants and a 5 gall bucket if he get crowded i will take another tv and make them both have 1 each big cage thank you there small right now so i think they will be ok....now the no lights at night??? it gets pretty cold in washington plus my wife always has the doors open at night so it tends to get cold but when i run all the lights during the day it gets about 80-85F when the timmer turns off the day lights the temp dropes to about 70-75F that is what i have benn told is a good night time drop and night lights were good so they dont get to cold.....tell me what you think??? iam always open for ideas and i love this forum webpage!!!!!:)

Welcome to the forum. Your ambient temperature in the day can be in the low 70's, under the basking light S/B in the 80's. I am 10 minutes from you by South Hill Mall, you should come over and visit!:D
