Just made a light box today.

Well, here are my other pets, including my veiled.
(All accounted for except my bearded dragon and 3 other leopards, all of which are still getting used to me or just plain angry).

I will be added more as I get more. :)

I'm seriously thinking about getting a crested. Are you going to breed them?

Very nice animals.

You got a permit for all them there animals missy???

Nice collection Sabrina.;)

Lol thanks! Permit?.. >_>

you have almost everything what I got.. except for the corn snake... I have a redtail boa.

Hah! I wish I could have gotten a snake that got bigger, but some people just don't like larger animals... LOL!

Nice Herps Syn, I love the Cresteds! :)

Thanks, they are one of my favorite species.

I actually might! Just depends. :)

That first picture of Puppy is adorable. :)

Hah thank you, he LOVES licking, that's how he got his name.. though once he licked me right after putting some hand sanitizer on, and then he started sneezing and licking his nose. So now I wait for a while after putting it on to hold him.

Very neat! Wish I could get more reptiles, but for now just want to raise the one I have and focus on that. Neat collection.

For the most part, all of them except the chameleon are pretty easy to take care of!

You have a great looking bunch there :D

The cresties are lovely!

Thank you! I take pride on my cresteds, except Girl, she's just evil.

Do you have any pets besides reptiles Syn?

I have a huge Red Pacu (cousin of the Pirahna), a goldfish.. and a .... garden? LOL.

I want puppy!!!

Hah! So many of my friend do, too. He's so calm and lovely.

Thanks all for the kind compliments. :)

Definately recfcomend it, they are easy to care for, no harm with them, they dont bite often, and when they do, hes got nothing to worry about, they are very weak, funny biters. they eat very little, there very cheap, no expensive lighting, room temp is usually good, and... 1 crested = 10 gallon tank, :)

Plus there so damn cute how ca ya resist? :p mind me asking how old your son is?

Hah, good luck.

Thanks, i hope to get a ball python for my first snake, or a red tail boa i believe its called... im lookin for a nice big aquarium now, hopefully 90 gallons :p Found some ncie cheap used ones online nwo, and will buy one soon... then i need a job to save money to buy the snake hahahaha

Sorry for doubleposting.

Well make that 2 huge tanks

http://www.siamfishingtours.com/pacu.jpg

Interesting Pirahna fact: They are related to Pacus, but so are about 300-400 other fish. They are all related to tetras. But out of all these fish in this family only these 2 look alike. Why? Well Young Pirahna hide amongst the shoals of pacu for protection. Can't hide in a school of fish if you look different. The young will eat off of the pacus, nipping scales and fins. This is a major part of their diet and it pretty much sustaines them wile young.

Your Pacu would also be more comfortable in a school of at least 6 fish, but to do so you would need a tank the size of a pool.

Sorry for the post but some fish really shouldn't be available in the pet trade. Pacus being right up on the list next to Mekong giant catfish.

He lives by himself. I wouldn't be able to keep another as it's, what, 250 gallons for the first one and an additional 200 for each addition?
Thanks for the information, it will be surprising for anyone else who reads this thread. :)
I read up on it before buying one, because I heard they get up to 3 feet long(ish). (He loves his bananas!)
It's also pretty terrifying when you accidentally startle him, so we try to keep him out of the way in a room that absolutely no one goes in except to feed him. It's a storage room, but we don't want to have to buy a brand new tank, as expensive as they are.
I would get you a picture, but when he was in a 55 gallon tank and we took a picture, he cracked the glass. I don't want to risk it again!
He is about 12" long so far. Amazing guy.
