wow!!! and you have chameleons in that? sweet! what do you have growing in those cages?
About 10 different shrubs, tropical in nuture.

   :eek:THAT IS AWSOME. What cams r u housing
Parson's, panthers, and quads, presently.

Very well done! Are you are those for individuals or colonies in each of those?
Some parsons and quads are housed together in pairs. Panthers kept separate.

Steve how are the Avocado's trees turning out?
I never had a chance to pick some up this year. So I'm Avocado less.

That's really awesome! I would love to do something like that in our backyard, but Oklahoma gets to hot in the summers.. We are going to pull up the wood flooring in one of our rooms for a parsonii jungle room starting this Spring.

Do they like avocados? And are they sensitive or pretty beefy?

Avocados are perfect for Parsonii to climb on with their large leaf's and large circumference branches especially for a large chameleon species. My male prefers them over any other tree I have ever provided for him. However, you have got to be careful with Avocados as the bark of the tree, skin and pit of the fruit are dangerously poisonous. Along with the leafs if they are eaten in large amounts. Meaning if your going to use them you have to make certain there is no loose bark (the trees normally have not got much bark to offer) and that the tree is not fruiting. As well not observing leaf eating behavior from your Parsonii. Which make things a bit more complicated.

Are you planning on buying a Parsonii?

I'm on the hunt, and have been for quite some time.. My wife and I are taking the wood floor out of one of the rooms in our new house we just built lol, to turn it into a jungle habitat with separate air conditioning and purification systems. Plan on eventually getting 2 breeding pairs and separating the room in fourths with divider walls that have the ability to be retract to make two large enclosures for them to copulate or just cohabit-ate in. We already have CNG generator big enough to run a school just in case as well:).

So yes.. We're just about ready. Taking our time to get everything up and running and perfect thought, so no rush to finish. Do you by chance allow a period of aestivation/hybernation before breeding season?

Sorry so long, hard to find someone willing to share information..

Thanks, Trey

Still jealous of your collection sswisss...

That is a requirement of keeping Parsonii. Whether you are going to breed them or not.
