hehe that is one big moth/butterfly!! So how long have you had him? Your so lucky to have a parsonii. I hope to get one someday:D

Don't give them such big feeders ! Parsoniis get very fast problems with their mouths, infections are also a big danger

Eisentrauti, please explain "fast problems" and what kind of infections? From eating big meals? Thank you

imike Nice looking lizard you got there. :D

I'm just a parsonii keeper but I have never breed them. But I've read nearly all I can get before I buy them and I found many cases in which parsoniis have had problems with infections, starting from their mouth.
Another big problem is that the infections could spread easy to the eyes and to the parts of the ear, nose and throat

Please be carefully with such big feeders and try to give smaller ones in the future. A general rule is that the feeders shouldn't longer than their mouth wide is

esp when the feeders have exo-skeletons that can cause damage, like the spines on that hoppers back legs

Thank you all for your advice.

In fact, the hopper I fed is not very big. It may be the zoom in function or the angle I took this pic so the hopper looks bigger than the parsonii's mouth. I also cut hoppers' back legs everytime I fed my parsonii.

So don't worry and I will pay attention to your advice on the infection problems.
