Wrex is his name, I got him at the local pet store here on November 20th, so far he's pretty friendly, sometimes when I stick my hand in his cage, he'll climb onto my finger just to perch on my shoulder, & other times he'll just ignore me & thats when I leave him alone.

I dont know why but for some reason I'm having a feeling that rex is a female... Hmmmm..... Can we check if rex has tarsals or spurs on rex's hind legs?

He's a male, the spurs are there, I named him after a character in a video game series.

Yea & he's seriously gluttonous too, & anything he sees in my hand appears to be food to him.

He sounds like a very cool chameleon, watching him grow is very exciting and he will grow FAST. If you have not read yet take a look at the care page posted here. https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/

He is pretty dark in the picture you posted, that is a sign of stress and dark spots are a sign of anger (at least with mine) most likely from the camera. For his age Veil chameleons are normally bright green (like in your second picture), unless basking. Their colors tell you almost everything about their mood, keep an eye on it and try not to stress him out too much. As they age (5-6+ months) is when they start showing patterns and deeper colors. Looking forward to watching him grow and thats a great name you gave him.

Yea, come to think of it he doesn't seem to like the camera much, I was wondering why he would be stressed or angry since he's very eager to climb on my hand & pretty bright whenever he's on me most of the time.
