Grass toxicity?

Wow is that live grass in there? What types did you use? No toxicity conflicts?

Were you referring to the grass being toxic? The only type of grass toxicity that I am aware of is fescue grass (and occasionally others) carrying a fungus that can cause toxicity in horses that consume large quantities of it (usually repro problems)...Or of course if pesticides have been applied. Is there something else that you were thinking of?

They look like blue eye leaf chameleons (Rhampholeon nchisiensis)(from Cameroon) and they usually lay a larger clutch.

Brad - There are records of Rhampholeon nchisiensis laying up to 19 eggs in a clutch!

Sipos - Rhampholeon nchisiensis is from Tanzania, not Cameroon.

what would you say thest pygmys to start out with? and what site besides flchams would you say is a good for for pygmys? all help is appreciated:D

Do you mean the best for beginners ?
That's quite difficult, captive breed ones are easier to handle, wild caught ones are often ill, dehydrated...
So in my opinion CB Brevicaudatas would be the best for complete beginners

Yea that's pretty much what I meant, I just wanted to make sure if I used live grass, I wouldn't have to worry about it killing my chameleons. I'm still thinking of getting a few pygs, just have to find room in the apartment for it lol
