I had a trioceros rudis and noticed a little lump on its tail and didn't seem to eat or drink for few days before it died. it was in the same spot al day sleeping with tail curled like it was weak then found it directly under where it was dead where it must have fell and had more lumps. whats that is it parasites???

think that's all info on it I can give no pics its died ....my mate got 6 different chamelions but only 2 are alive now and all died in the past 5 weeks or so

Are you keeping them seperated from one another or are they housed together? It sounds like there is something contagious in nature that is killing them. Were they wild caught or captive bred?

I think you and your mate are doing something wrong because that many chameleons dying in such a short time is bullocks

yes, you are right, I forgot to mention it could be the way they are being kept. Temps humidity, etc.

they are all separate I just had 1 he has leaftails beardeys snakes and more and doesn't have propblems with the rest there all from the same person who breeds them so don't know how they was kept until he got them

Are you sure temps and all are correct and set up is ideal for them to thrive? If so, then I would look towards parasites or something of that nature. Can you get a fecal done on the remaining two to rule out parasites?

I will ask me mate he has them it could be temp its harder to keep temps up not as warm as Africa where they are usualy from but the sets up where fine but the 2 alive are jacksons I think they are bit easyier to have

Both species you mentioned are montanes which means they shouldn't be kept above 80-85 degrees. What have you been keeping them at? Please fill out the how to ask for help sticky in the health clinic forum.
