My Sweet Amos Has Left Me and My Heart is Broken

It is with a very heavy heart that I let you all know that Amos passed away in the hospital around 11:30 last night.

I want to thank all of you for the many prayers over the past month. I put together some photos of him for a little tribute from when he first came to live with me until last weekend. Amos was such a sweet little man and loved dearly by all that met him.

Sleep tight my little love until we meet again.

I know there are no words at this time that can comfort a broken heart, Jann. But so, so sorry to hear of Amos’ passing. The greatest power of death isn’t that it takes away our loved ones, but it’s what it takes away from those that are left behind. The emptiness you feel now will someday be filled with happy, loving memories of your dear, sweet boy. RIP Amos.

Jann - I was so sorry to hear this. Amos had a rough start in life, and in another keeper's hands he would never have made it this long. Added to that, I can't think of many other keepers I know who would have gone to the great lengths that you have to try to keep him healthy. He lived the life of a king, and will always be remembered as such. RIP Amos.
