Hi,
I am new to the forum and my husband and I recently bought a three year old huge (to us) male cham who was being kept in a small exo terra tank....some people eh!....he was shedding at the time and still is in a bad shed. we have sprayed him and his enclosure with water twice a day. What more can we do please?

older chams do shed more slowly, but you're on the right track with more mistings, you can try and put him on a plant in the shower, point shower head away from the cham and have it luke warm. leave him in there for 5 mins or so, it will help hydrate him and put him in a very humid environment which may help, also making sure he has branches to rub up on... if you're really worried there are ointments and sprays out there that help reptiles shed more easily.

Despite a lot of mistings as a daily standard my xanth or veiled has little bits of shed stuck and mentioned about there are ointments, I use zoo meds Shed aid and apply a drop or two with a soft art paintbrush, let it soak in and soften the skin which it does brilliantly and most of the time it will fall off on its own.

If he will let you handle him, a shower may help a lot, too. He will rehydrate himself that way, too. If they kept him the way you say, I'm assuming they didn't provide adequate mistings.
