hello all. i have just come across your forum and so my first post here and would like to show a build log of my cham's viv i built a little while ago. this was a build and research venture combined so bear with the project as you, understandingly, will note issues as i go along and addressed appropriately.

i have given the slideshow link, but can easily be set to slow or pause if you would like to read the notes included with the pics.

thanks for looking

Top quality work, but I personally would keep them in separate vivs, they are not social animals even in harems, lol . Edna and Ethel, also lol...........maybe Edna is being reserved because of Ethel being dominant. She doesn't necessarily have to be chasing and biting to put her under stress, Chameleon stress can be invisible to the human eye (even for very experienced keepers). If you are totally sure though, it does look big enough for them to both be comfortable. Welcome to the forum :)

chuck the habimist they're horrible

i know. stated this in my last note. wish i'd known beforehand

Awesome! If there was a viv of the month award i would vote for yours! Excellent craftsmanship by the way

thank you. your appreciation is welcoming.

Wow this is a very nice set up you did an awesome job!!

thank you. as noted with the plans it was not a rush job, so made the long project more rewarding when finished. (my opinion mind) :D

thank you. edna left someway through the stage of near completion, as stated in my notes. i appreciate a lot of people would only be interested in the pics, so no worries if anyone makes any qualms after the viewing. :)

cheers

I missed that bit, only glanced through the notes........even better :D

Beautiful piece of work you have there!

As said, ditch the habbamist! It is pants! Get yourself a mistking! Yeah, i know they're US, but they have a distributor in Poland: http://www.vivariumland.com/ go there instead. I bought mine from them (as it cuts out the import tax which is horrific from the US) and will never look back! By far the best thing I have bought for my chameleons.

The only other thing I'd say is add a few more plants if you can to give her a bit more cover! But, as I've already said, it does look great!

P.s - if you do add another plant, add 'devils ivy' (aka pothos) as my set up is very similar and it grows like crazy!

thanks. the notes were put there so you could understand my methods and hints for anyone else to utilise and more importantly to be corrected by any issues raised by the viewer if need be(none was raised even tho' blatant errors ensued!!!) glad i did not post here whilst on the build ;)
