My yemen might be hypo please help!

Hello. I am new to this. I have just bought my self a Yemen and he sees a little different from other I have seen. I thought he was pied but have talk to some shops and they say to ask you guys cause I am living in the uk and our exeperts are not that good. My Yemen has or seems to be lacking in black pigment?? And has a lot of White on him. He is 9 months old and as every day goes by he gets I little more whiter! Does any one know what he could be? I will post some pics when I get chance! He is not a trans. he is a regular Veiled.

He's just shedding, when they get older they don't shed in one time and piece by piece his skin gets whiter, you ca see exactly where he's going to shed. He looks normal, but I do think he is a bit overweight.

I agree, he is NOT a translucent veiled. Translucents, even low-ends with a very slight amount of the translucent, will show at least some white on the feet and it is very distinct.

So do they shed every day then??? Cause they are always there! As in his White bits and clear/White claws?

There are some reg. veileds that do have white claws and tips of their toes, but that does not make them a translucent. Your picture did not indicate that he was at all translucent. For reference, however, why don't you post a picture of the place on him that you are referring to.

Hes a normal. They just vary greatly in color. from some with lots of dark and earth tones colors to some that are lighter almost pastel looking.... I also see skin shed as well on his body, and nails and toes on veileds are white or light. They dont have black nails.
