I bought him from Predator's Reptile Center in Mesa, AZ. He was on sale for $40. http://www.predatorsreptilecenter.com/ I believe that they only do local sales.

The hubby's building him a custom enclosure. I will post pics. of that as soon as he's done. Maybe another week or so.

He's not the friendliest guy in the world, but he loves to eat to from my hand. The hubby thinks that it's crazy that I dangle crickets by their legs for him.

It's amazing how fast they grow. I've only had him for little over a month or so, and he's already so much bigger. I need to weigh him to keep track.

Hand feeding builds trust, keep it up and he might be more friendly as he gets older. Try and wear the same colors when you do it... it will help him recognize you.

Keeping track of his weight is a great idea. You'll have something to go on if you need to take him to the vet for some reason.

my melleri, Henry doesn't like black. He spots up when I enter the room and will move higher up in his range. He also keeps an eye on me...
