Named her Lizzo. Really hoping she’s not a Luigi.

She’s About a 4-5 month old Veiled. Real feisty and loves to act like she hates me despite coming to me when it’s feeding’ time.

I’ve stared and stared to see if there are spurs But I just can’t tell.

any ideas?

thanks for the help! Yeah, I’ve looked at every veiled pics I could find on the internet but the challenge is that she’s so young and I’ve seen a few pics of males her age with teeeny, tiny knubs for spurs.
It is true. Some males have small ones, some, females even have small ones. But, i do not see any at all on your girl, and her markings and coloring tell me she is in fact a she.

you 100% have a female. if you had a Luigi, you would notice bumps called tarsal spurs on the back of her rear legs.

I laughed and honestly @Benclark you made it into more then needed by commenting on it. Everyone needs to stop taking EVERYTHING so seriously.

@Lizzo_the_Great cute name! Yes you have a girl. Prepare for egg laying. Tarsal spurs are pretty pronounced. These are my boys when he was roughly 7 months old. But even before then you can see them really well.
