Chameleon crazy

I keep a great variety of reptiles, and I recently rescued another Bearded-Dragon and a gecko. Along with my 5 other beardies my roach colony has been weakened greatly. I don't have the extra money to get more feeder as I just spent it on the enclosures and heating systems. If anyone by any chance has some extra roaches they don't need, I would really appreciate the hand. I can cover the shipping cost on them.

Thank you,

Instead of trying to bum for feeders, why not spend the time allocating homes for those animals you cannot afford to take care of?

or maybe pick up a few dozen crickets for now? For the price of shipping you can buy 10 dozen crickets which is a good deal of food.

rescue

who is going to recsue the rescuer? if you are intent on rescuing animals you cant afford to feed, then you have to accept the reality that there are going to expenses whether you are ready for them or not , always waiting for someone else to come through is not a viable solution, the only sensible answer is to fork over $50 -70 for a dubia colony with some extra feeders and some extra pairs, it comes with enough furniture ,water crystals and chow to get started, feed chams sparingly for the first 2 months and if you keep your colony warm and fed, by then you will have more perpetual roaches than you know what to do with, when the chow runs out make your own using bee pollen its cheap & lots of recipies out there, way better than the dogfood crap that comes with most dubia

Yeah how can you rescue an animal if you don't have any food for them

I agree, this is a case of biting off more then u can chew......ahemmmmm...

Sometimes getting into a situation like this is worse for the animals then the original owner keeping the reptiles......
