i need a larger uvb light but i notice that there are only repti sun 10.0 and the red one is for desert animals. can anyone else tell me which other one can i use?

Larger how?
length or strength?
the 10's are too strong for chammie eyes. Unless your top screen is very dense and your uv reading is way lower than 32-35 you should stick with the 5.0 and change them out at 6mo. Which is what it sounds like you are doing

im moving my chameleon in to a larger cage. so i need a "24" light

Oh that's easy!
Chad at tiki tiki or LLLhave them for the cheapest. Check both and if Chad is cheaper but you want to go lll cause its closer tell them they will beat any price by 5% if you tell them.
Both have 24" bulbs and hoods. DIY has great hoods as well

which brand should i get?

I have just put a reptisun 10.0 tube in for my veiled simple because the rays are passing through screen which weakens the strength of the rays.

Others on this forum have no problems using 10.0 which in theory should last a bit longer than the 5.0 does.

but i have a panther? do you think it will be the same?

Unless you hsve a uv meter, you have no idea what your uv numbers are. So to assume your readings are low and therefore purchased a 10 is playing with your chams health.
To tell a inexperienced cham keeper to jeopardize their chams health is just wrong.
However if you tell me you own a meter and the 10 keeps within acceptable ranges, I will ammend my post!
