I have a clutch that was born on Nov 20 that seemed to be doing pretty well. I have them in a large storage container with a linear light on top and im feeding flyless fruit flies and misting the enclosure 2-3 times a day.
However I had one baby pass away over night. He hadn't ate or opened his eyes in about 3 days prior I tried to give him food but wouldn't eat. Has anyone else experienced this?

More information and pictures can help. How many do you have in a bin? What is your temperature? What dose your set up consist of live plants artificial ect...
Also know that not all babies are guaranteed to live it’s nature.

Temp is about 78 in there. Here's a pic. Not that exquisite but I keep it small where I can keep track of them to see if they're eating drinking etc. There was 5 in total.

Replied below!

Ok you need exact temperature ranges. Also here’s some suggestions and recommendations get rid of the news paper that is a breeding ground for mold and bacteria. Replace your branches with one that are smaller in diameter so that the neonates can wrap the hands around. You can get them from a tree that you know isn’t sprayed with any kids of pesticides. Use the ends of the tree branches they will work best. Also add a little bit more foliage for drinking and hiding purposes

Are these veileds? The one that passed ...is it the one that got close to the light?
Yes! It isn't that one. She did pass after a few days but she was hanging in there for a while. These are from my other babies. I did the same thing for my bigger ones im doing for the smaller and they were fine. However the small one passed and now there is another one that is acting weird now as well. Its just sitting there with its eyes closed not eating. Same symptoms as the other 😭😭😭

Are you keeping them exactly the same as the other babies were kept? Are all the babies from the same parents?

I currently have 150 babies... as nature is, some are stronger than others...the weak ones will die..they always do...the strong survive...
That makes me feel better about the situation yet I can't help to feel so bad for them. Thanks for the positive reinforcement!
