Need advice!

Hey guys I'm taking my little guy to the vet on friday but I've just noticed that he's gotten these funny looking lite green spots on his head and body should I take him to the vet earlier?

Do you mean the lighter patches of skin? That is shedding skin.

Oh ok awesome I was starting to freak right out. It's he's first time while I've had him. Do I need to do anything to help him along the process?

No, it can cause damaged skin. Just let him shed on his own. If a patch gets stuck try giving him a long misting.

Thank you. Should I wait it'll he's finish shedding to take him to the vet or doesn't it matter? I'm just taking him in for a check up

I don't think you need to wait, but shedding only takes a day or so anyways.
