not sure how and what supplies to get. also not sure whats the best. if someone can give me a list on most affordable and quality supplies to make a professional mist system thatd be great. also a step-by-step way to put it together would be appreciated. thanksss

If yoiur looking to make a misting system and not a dripping system you'll prolly have to be looking ionto getting a high psi pump, such as mistking uses..

I use a 115psi pump from a RO/DI unit.... whihc is typically called a "booster" pump. Im sure these can be found for cheap on craigslist or ebay...

I had one laying around (ro.di unit) so just took the pump off it.... long removed the DI cartridge.... and now have a standard ro unit without booster pump wihich isnt needed anyways since im not neededing 100gpd anymore.

You can find ro units with booster pumps pretty cheap about the price of a new booster pump alone. so then you can atleast start making you own RO water at houshold pressure and use the booster pump making a "misting" system\

I used the folowing

-Booster Pump
-approx 10ft of 1/4 black tubing typically used for irigation drip lines
-1 pack or 1/4 fittings (comes with barbed 90 elbows, t's, couplers)
-1 Quick disconect 1/4" tubing coupler(to quickly and EASILY) disconnect misting system from cage for cleaning
-1 Fogger/Misting head from Home Depot (they arnt avaiable at Lowes... atleast the 4 I went 2 diddnt have fogger heads)
-1 digital timer whihc I also had laying around

Cost me since I had the pump less than 15 bucks.

My "Drip" is done by an aqualifter pump which I had laying around as well and with extra parts and a 1gph adjustable drip head cost me an aditional 8 bucks for tubing and such.

regarding aqualifter (drip pump not the misting system)The 5 gallon jusg could also be under the stand if I put the aqualifter on top of the cage... aqualifter pumps work well at pulling/lifting water up(hence the name) but are horrid at pushin water up head pressure these pumps cant handle.

Heres some Pics of what I did

The Pump... black tubing in input white tubing is output

1 tube is the input for the booster pump the other is input for the aqualifter sitting ontop of jug

White tubing is the mister black tubing is the drip. this is where I changed it and added a quick disconnect for each line just below the elbow so I can easily dissconnect the cage from drip and misting system

Middle head is the "mister" other 2 heads are drips, I only have 1 drip going at a time each head has its own adjustable valve.. I did this as when the plants grow/get moved for cleaning I have a spot which will be getting hit by leaves and not just fall to the bottom
