Need help on veild chameleon eggs

Hey I saw some of my veild chameleon eggs get blue and have white stuff on it is it mold I threw them away ? It’s been a week since they been laied

I thee away three eggs that had blue stuff on them and white like spider web it been a week since they been laid here is a picture of them and the two eggs I circled have blue like dots on them and that’s how the others looked @kinyonga

I wouldn't throw away the eggs with the blue dots...just move them to another container set up the same way and see if they shrivel up or not. If it's mold you can try wiping it off. Some people put a light dusting of athletes foot powder on them....I don't know if this works or is safe...but it might be worth a try once they are moved out of the container with the good eggs.

Are you incubating them at about 74F

The mold is on the other side but the 3 one is denting the rest are

If they were dented in then they are likely ready to be tossed.

hi I do not spray them because I was told that’s is not right and also the humidity is normally up to 99.99 or more or less depending but it’s stays 99

How moist is the substrate? If you take a fist full, can you squeeze any moisture out of it?

Yes a bit like a drop and I add water at the edges with a spoon

Yeah sorry stupid question . I was just thinking about a different situation where 100 % humidity is possible. I have never bred chameleon only bearded dragons. And thought 80- 90 percent humidity would be fine . But I'm sure some of the other members will correct me

No worries I understand and I have asked but they said it don’t matter the humidity juts the temp

The humidity inside the container does matter. If it's too dry the egg shells will become stiff and hard and the embryo will suffocate.
If it's too wet/humid the eggs will take on too much water and burst.

Oh ok when I asked you you said you were unsure so what the correct humidity then if you can help me it would be better
