Need help w/ care scheduele

not to shot anybody's advise or anything but i would avoid feeding your chameleon mealworms as staple feeder.
Especially when they are babies.
They need all the best nutrition they can get.
Mealworms is, in my opinion, the junkfood of reptiles.
Waxworm too.

I totally agree with dodolah on that. For babies definitely not the best as a staple feeder. More of a once or twice a week meal, if that. Babies do need the best nutrition. Crickets, silkworms and roaches are prob the best with a good gut load added to them.

What type of roaches should I get? How big? I think I will keep my crix outside in my storage, it gets to about 50 at night here, and the water heater is in there so they will stay sorta warm, so I think they should grow slowly hopefully.

This is the most common one I have seen as a feeder roach.

As for the size for a baby I would start with 1/8"-1/4" and move up from there depending on the age of the Cham. The trick is you don't want to feed your Cham anything any bigger than the space between its eyes or some say food that is no larger than the Cham's head. These roaches may be pricey but they breed like no tomorrow and before you know it a set of 20 can lead to 100's. People find they end up having to try and sale them cause they can't feed them enough to their Cham. lol

Will they breed themselves, do I need to keep them in a special container or will a emtpy tupper ware tub work? Its like 12x24x24

roach pretty much breed by themselves.
Get them a cage, egg carton stacks, put food and water gel, and warm the cage to 90F. and soon you'll have tiny babies swirling around. and if you keep it up, you will no longer need to buy crickets anymore.

You do have the cage already set up, don't you?
If you don't, i suggest asking Mike to send it to you next week.
It's imperative to finish all your homework first. so, by the time, your cham arrives. you can just pop him into the cage. and that's it..
enjoy your new chameleon.

His cage is finished, I just need to get his Calicum with and without D3, and Multivitamin, and a Container for the Crix. Lights and everything are on a timer set up and working.
