He or she is a veiled chameleon about 4 to 6 months old and he ate around 6 or 7 crickets already throughout the day and he would prolly eat more but i heard overfeeding can cause sickness. My question basically is how often and how many crickets should i feed it, thanks. One more thing, i would like to get some wax worms also, how often do you guys feed your chameleons wax worms and how much because i read that a person does this schedule:
Day 1 - fresh strawberry, fresh green lettuce tied to inside of cage
Day 2 - 8 crickets and 5 meal worms fed in a plastic cup so i can make sure what they are eating
Day 1- peach slice and bok choy
Day 2 10 meal worms and 5 crickets
Day 1 - fruit and veggie
Day 2 - 5 Super worms and 5 Crickets
I wasn't sure about the fruit, I heard fruit might not be good for them so i need some help, thanks. I also use calcium spray on the crickets every other day, am i doing that right.
