Current Problem - outer rim of eye is swollen or eye is sunken (which is what makes me think it is swollen because of the way the outside looks compared to the healthy eye.

I would take him to the vet a.s.a.p. cause at this piont it looks pretty bad. You can get unisol 4 saline solution make sure there is not type of conditioner in it. Your local walgreens or cvs pharmcy have them. Try and flush it out with that cause there is matter build up in his eye he might need anitbiotics. Depending the cause for his eye buldging that way. There is a way to flush matter if it builds up but if your fairly new to chams i would not advise you to do it. But I would take him to the vet a.s.a.p that way they can properly do it and give you what you need to treat him. As for the eye drops (unisol 4) try squriting with a little pressure in his eye cause from the looks of the picture it looks completely shut. The little bit of pressure you apply as your squriting may help him flush some of the matter build up and so he can open it a little. try not to stress him out. and good luck
