I got my female jackson chameleon 3 days ago and i was told she is about 1 year old. She looks super skinny to me and i can see what looks like her ribs. I have only handled her twice. I have seen tons of pics of chems and none of them looked as skinny as mine. She has only eat 4 crickets since i got her. I am concerned she might have some kind of parasite, am i just paranoid or what do you guys think?
P.s. The first pic is from the previous owner

My advice is to NOT handle her until you know she is comfortable with you. Especially not at night. When they are sleepy, you handle them and SOME will be very grumpy, but most likely she is too tired to be grumpy for you picking her up

Feed her crickets, and other bugs if you want, and she will gain weight, make sure she is eating and drinking.

My jackson's LOVES drinking out of the end of a squirt bottle because I just let it drip slowly and he comes and slurps it up.

Try what works for her. Spray the leaves in her enclosure so it forms drops, or put an ice cube/water bottle w/ holes in it on the top of the cage so it drips water in her leaves. Or just do it the way I do.

She will get used to you and be back to normal as long as you treat her with care and feed her every day.

You just got her. Many chameleons do not eat for the first week or couple days of the move because they're in a new house and they're scared/still figuring out their environment. Just give her a few days. If she does not eat after 1-3 weeks I would get her to the vet.

Not sure what you are expecting here, first you post that you handle your "chem" when she is sleeping, now This. I feel a troll, but if you are for real, you need to fill out the how to ask for help form in the health clinic and also see a vet as that girl is very sick.

I agree.

She does not look very sick to me, but there is no doubt she may be. To me it just looks like she is neglected and underfed.

Please do get her proper care soon?
