Hey this is my first time posting, im really worried about my veiled female she made a hole in her laying bin but then covered it i tought it was all fine but when i checked to get the eggs out they weren`t there and she looks like she still got them all in her dont know what to do need adviced... urgent!!

I may be wrong, and if I am I certainly hope someone corrects me, but I'm pretty sure females don't lay immediately when they start digging. If she's only just started digging and hasn't laid I don't think it's a huge worry, I think she's exploring and prepping the laying area available.

But if she is getting ready to lay you need to be sure her humidity levels are at their optimum.

Yes the humidity leves are around 75 and 80%, but what worries me is that she spend 3 days digging her hole then spend a whole day facing out and then covered the hole and when i took her out today thinking i was going to find the egg i noticed that she didn`t lay any egg and thats what have me kind of worried, but ill wait couple more days to see if she starts digging again. Thank you.

Hopefully someone with a little more experience on the matter will contribute, it's been a few years since I last had a laying female, but I hope my words lent you a little peace of mind, but I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

Its quite possible she's eggbound, sorry to say. Filling the hole in is often an indication of that. I would get her to a vet asap.

Damn, sorry, the advice I gave out was based on my experience with my old female, before she laid she ventured to the bottom of the enclosure a few times to dig around a little before she laid her eggs.

I couldnt take my veiled female yesterday to the vet because i got out of work late but i made a hole on her laying bin and when i woke up this morning she was digging in the hole i did yesterday now im not sure if i should leave her along and see what happens or take her to the vet?

If she is in the hole, just wait then! She can still lay those eggs. And leave her alone while she is laying!
Fingers crossed!

got back from the vet couple hours ago they did xray and all that good stuff ony female veiled aparently is a fake pregnancy so thank god she's not egg bound and thanks every that try to help thankfully she's going to be safe and hopefully post her egg later on.

That's great news. Are you sure she didn't lay the eggs and you just didn't find them?

yeah im pretty sure i took out all the sand in the bin just to make sure and didnt find them thats why i took her to the vet, thinking she was egg bound but they told me that it was like a fake pregnancy i personally never heard of that happening to a reptile but in the x ray doesn`t even show big egg so im hoping in the next couple of month see her lay the egg for real this time.
