i also plan on getting a ficus but my home depot dosent get a shipment of those till september! but those well do for now i just wish i had a little more hight in my plants but they well grow i hope

yes i do there plants are all dyeing its to hot for a shipment of ficuses from what i have ben told by home depot and lows they would die of the heat its ben staying in the 100 the past month here

I have found nice plants at walmart to, I originally put one of those expensive pieces of driftwood in my enclosure to and all it did was soak up water so I took mine out

Wood does indeed mold sometimes, with high humidity there's a higher chance of it. You can buy fake woods, or just cover the dirt in paper towels.

I'd ditch the driftwood. All it's going to do is get pooped on, and hold on to water and bacteria. There's no point to having it.

If you want some coverage at the top, get a hanging pothos, run a thick dowel or bar across the top of the enclosure (on the inside), and hang that there. Some folks here have done that and it looks great and provides lots of hiding places. Plus holds in the humidity.

i did get plants that are safe for her i use the resources on this website im ocd with saftey stuff with my cham and where can i find fake wood and what are some good ideas for stick or a branch that gose the whole length of the cage idk how to explain it

This is what I will be doing tomorrow. My hibiscus and draem...? something have managed to die. thats with watering and trips outside in the sunlight. Heck, I'm even managing to kill a Ficus. So I think I may do a nice group of pothos, both hanging and floorstanding. Saw a website that had pothos pyramids? Looked quite tall, but tomorrow is definitely the wooden dowel potho plant day of the overhaul

I have two suggestions.

1) Keep looking for a Ficus. I wouldn't believe them about the "too hot to ship" bit. Until this week, it has been about 100 for the last month here too, and we have definitely received shipments at our big box hardware stores. It took going to a few stores a few different times, but now it seems like there are dozens of them!

2) Also, for the love of god, use a punctuation mark! I get it, you're on a phone or in a hurry, but when you use no punctuation whatsoever, it is a PITA to read! Just put a couple in there, it doesn't have to be perfect... Maybe you don't realize it because you are expressing your own thoughts, but it is super awkward to read.

thanks! Good luck with the new cage, looks nice and big!
