looks good, just make sure that ceramic heat bulb doesnt heat up that exo terra and kill him. Those tanks tend to hold heat in alot more then a screen cage obviously. I would make sure you know what temp it gets to inside and what the actual spot he would be basking at would be.

Whats the night temp in the cage without the ceramic heat on? I wouldn't use it unless it gets below 55 and even then you would only need a very low wattage especially with glass. You will need a bigger cage in the next couple months so be prepared. As long as you figure out the proper dusting schedule, gutload your bugs, and figure out your drainage with a glass cage you should be good. Make sure to take lots of pictures. Whos the sire of your future cham?

Also what are you talking about with sun simulater? For that big of a cage I would only use your uvb and a basking bulb. I wouldnt bother with a "sun simulater" or the aquarium bulb

Using a glass terrarium may be the best thing where you are, even here in the US a lot of people start babies in exo terra's. Now about lights, i personally would use your 5.0 uvb, and a small, maybe 40 watt household bulb for heat.
Just check your temps a lot the first few days and make sure they don't get to high. It may also be difficult to establish the needed temp gradient. I would try putting it in only one corner, but be careful, I melted the plastic on the top of one of my exo terra, it now sags. Some tiny vines or sticks to meet the size of his tiny feet might be good. But I think it looks great. JMO
Congrats!!

Thanks guys! I'm gonna run the lights for a couple days and check the temps. And are you sure the heat should be as low as 55. I was keeping the ceramic on at night before and it didn't seem to bother him with temps at 74. The sure is "blue blaze"

A temperature drop at night is beneficial so they can regulate their body temperature. I keep my guys outside on my screen porch and I will leave them out until mid fall when the temp gets to mid 50's at night, any lower than that though and I bring them in.

Looks good except for the exo-terra. You should really upgrade to a screen enclosure asap

The exo-terra is PERFECT for a younger Cham. I wish they made a larger enclosure at a cheaper price.

It makes things like humidity and stable temps EASYYY, while still providing airflow.

To the OP , everything inside looks greattt. I think you have a little too much in the way of equiptment (you should have one basking "dome" light with a reg 60w housewhole bulb, and you can put a 5.0 UVB in that 18" fixture)

^^ This :)

No lights or heating needed at night , unless your home temp drops below 60*.

And I thought I knew everything about chams. I'm humbled that such an obvious thing as night temp slipped under my radar. I had been told it needed to stay warm at night before in my defense. I suppose you never stop learning. :)

what are you doing about water collecting in the bottom?

good question. I also have a Exo-terra and this is what i do.

I use Bounty Papertowel (3-4 sheets will cover the whole bottom) This catches the water from mistings. I also use a large but shallow catch bowl to collect water from the dripper. I dripp justttt enough to not overflow the catch bowl.

Do not use news paper, it will stick to the glass and make a mess. A roll of Bounty is $2.50 or so here . I buy in bulk for the house anyway, so it's cheaper. A roll will last me over a month, changing it out twice a week.

Sometimes i just leave it bare at the bottom like you have it (it's hard to get papertowel in and out with a lot of plants and stuff). As long as the catch bowl catches the majority of the water you will be fine, the rest will evaporate and help with the humidity.

This is mine.. Because i used suction-cups i set everything about 5" off the bottom, so it's easy to swap out the papretowel and clean.

Water collection

I was wiping the bottom with paper towel before but just lining it is a good idea although not as asthetically pleasing. I just need a drip bowl and im good. I may route the drops to my plant and then it would water my plant. two birds one stone.
