Need To Buy Feeders

Like an assortment mixed bunch??? or just a place where they have a variety of feeder insects to order?

I usually use reptilefood.com
sometimes lllreptile.com
But i know that http://www.herpfood.com/ has like a feeder buffet, with an assortment of bugs.

this will give you links by feeder, state, country - anyway you want it. http://www.feederfinder.net/

I second the vote for mulberryfarms as they carry a lot more than just silkies and hornworms now. great customer service and quality insects.

grubco.com has a sampler pack that can be a good choice except that they include "mighty mealies" which are frowned upon (they are bred using growth hormones).

And there it is!

On the grubco site - nutritional information with the fiber stats! Great.

I third mulberryfarms.com. They personally called me up to tell me that they were out of silkies and I ordered them before they updated the site. They switched the quantity to butterworms. I would call that great service and I havent gotten a dead insect from them yet. I dont get crix there though.

it makes a great deal of difference where you're located to begin with.
I wouldn't bother ordering from anyone on the other coast away from me.
locate a LOCAL supplier/breeder and use them (and save on shipping)

I also recommend mulberry.

You know, you would think, that in New York City, I would be able to walk into any of the numerous pet emporiums around here, or at least into one of them, and get pinhead crickets. I have not found a place within the city limits YET. Even fruit flies took a bit of looking around.

If anybody knows someplace in NYC (i.e. accessible by public transportation) where pinheads are sold, please let me know. (I would rather find a place that I can walk into, than order online. But I think that tomorrow, I will just have to take the plunge...)
