ok so my 7 month old male panther went on a hunger strike a couple weeks back. i tried to give crickets, worms, and a few other things i could find. nothing seem to work. he was obviousl eating something i put in there b/c there was fecal matter as well as white urates. but there wasn't as much as usually. and i could still see sevearl of the "food" items still in the enclosure.
so the last few nights when i have checked on him while he was sleeping you can see his ribs. but durning the day when he is up moving around etc you can't. i have seen on here that members will post pics and you can see their chams ribs and the person is told they look great.
so i assume that this is a normal thing? however just to be sure i would like to get something to fatten him up a smidge.
any ideas? he does not like the super worms at all.
any other suggestions?

yeah i agre go with wax worms but dont give em too many cuz there like candy and if u can try to cup feed throw some wax worms in there and maybe some crix with out legs or and food and your cham could miss and eat one of those ive done that and my cham started eatin great again? idk y but it worked

look at his tail base and his casque, not his ribs. If his bones are not showing, an dhis casque not sucked in, he's probably good. You do NOT want a fat chameleon.

i would deff go with wax worms goliath worms are also good for hydration not fay and silkies are not bad but the fattiest ones are waxworms

he won't eat wax worms, any other ideas?
thanks for letting me know about checking his tail etc. he doesn't look as thin as i thought.
thanks i just love how educational this site is.
