Need to move egg

My air conditioning needs some repair work and my apartment is getting way too hot for my panther egg. I don't have an incubator since I've been using a simple setup. My egg is around 5 months old and I need to move it to my girlfriends apartment. Is it possible to do this VERY carefully at this stage in egg development? I could also get an incubator but id rather not do that because it will just be the one egg and will be useless after it hatches. Open to other options or ideas to keep it cool.

You should be fine moving it. Just don't drive real crazy.

Lightly mark top dead center w/ black marker. Keep it centered and upright from then on. Will be ok. Drive like grandma.
