Need your opinion

Hi everyone


So it's getting warm enough to start bring the chams outside and I want to have 2 outside cages for lily and Charles. Currently I have lily in a reptibreeze and Charles in a custom. I just bought another large reptibreeze because it was on sale for 30$. Would it be ok if a kept both reptibreezes outside and put lily in a large glass exo terra terrium that I have laying around? They would be outside 9-10 hours a day. I know glass isn't the best for them but she would mostly just sleeping in it.

i would advise against it. it may get too hot out there. make sure she has somewhere under shade to hide from sun. if the temps exceed 85, i would be worried about leaving her out there. and then remember there needs to be proper humidity. also for night time. they expect a temp drop of about 10-15 degrees.

but im NO EXPERT. i would wait for more ppl to chime in here before taking my word for it.

I don't understand why you would need to put her into the exo terra? You have two repti breeze's.

I am not sure if I understand. You are keeping them outside in screen and then one of them inside in a glass enclosure? That would be ok. If the glass if for outside, then definitely not. Too hard to maintain temps in the summer.

Well, if the chameleon will only be sleeping in it, as the op stated, I don't think it is for daytime outdoor use then.

Sounds like the OP wants to keep the screen cages outside at all times so when bringing her in will be putting her in the glass exo terra. So that will not be outside. In which case is say it's fine.

Sorry, I should of explained myself better. Thank you ferretinmyshoes for answering my question. I want to keep both reptibreezes outside all time and put lily in the exo terra just at night.
