Never seen him drink

So I've had Sobe for a lil over 2 months now and I've never once seen him drink or lick water off of any of the plants. I mist him 3x a day and make sure he's soaked. Sometimes I put him under the filtered water so that he opens his mouth and he gets a full gulp in...

I currently dont have a dripper b/c i can't hang it from the wall and the cage is not strong enough to support it.

In a few weeks we will be building the larger cage and he will have the dripper.

The vet told me of something he used to do for his veiled when he raised them with his son.

It's just a lil bowl of water with an airstone in it, hooked up to a tube & pump. So there's constant bubbles going to keep the water oxygenated. I change the water everyday so there's no bacteria build up. He said his would drink from it all the time but I have yet to see Sobe EVER drink ANYTHING.

Should I be worried? His poop is fine and his health seems fine...

Hope u can help!

Its gotta be getting it from somewhere in there. I always monitor the drinking part, feeding not so much as hydration is so much more important. My jackson loves a nice warm shower, a massage water head I advise for smaller water drops.

I didn't really see my cham eat or drink for the first few months. I monitered his weight and visually assessed him. If you are misting a lot, this shouldn't be much of a problem.

Not so fond of water in a bowl for chams myself, but some people swear by it. You just have to be honest with yourself--are you really going to change the water every day. (I'm frankly too lazy...) Bacteria grows faster than you think
