Unfortunately my jacksons passed earlier this week :(
So I was left with his enclosure I had built him. I was thinking of selling it locally then the boss was like, why don't you see if that Nick guy has any Panther chameleons available.
So we have bought a male Ambilobe that Louis sired from Nick at Canvas Chameleons. :)

Hi pgr7,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your jacksons, and congratulations on your new Ambilobe! I wish him a long and very happy life with you :) I would love to see pictures of your built enclosure and new boy! How old is your Ambilobe? Cheers from Portland, OR.

He won't be ready until march sometime then I can go pick him up.
And thank you.

Very nice indeed! Sorry about you loss. Just out of curiosity your cham looks fairly young in that vid what did he die of? I only ask because if it was do to parasites I would do a thorough cleaning before introducing a new guest.

No problem on the question!
He was young, I got him in July they weren't sure of age,he was wild caught according to big apple herp. :/
His enclosure was kept tip top,all requirements met, diet was varied between a mix of,phoenix worms, dubias, super worms, and silk worms. I'd mix others in also to a less degree, wax worms etc.
I think it was from stress to be honest. We had him in a quiet area of the house that wasn't at all heavy traffic. Then our roommate that lives at our house set the area up as his living room. Well,he would stay up way past lights out for the cham and I would notice the cham was still awake from the lights etc being on. So when I would remember and notice the roommate up I would cover the tank with a dark towel and it would be good. But I wasn't always home to do this or remember. It very well could have been a parasite or something else similar. So I've used a bottle of wipe out and elbow grease. Everything got pulled out cleaned and is drying out a few days,I'll manually water the plants. So hopefully a month of it sitting clean and dry will kill off anything.

If you cleaned it well it should be okay. Good luck on your new arrival.:)
I hope so! I scrubbed everything down really well with the disenfectant and dawn like I do for any live plants so should be good especially after a month long fallow period

Here's an updated pic of the enclosure all ready for my panther from Nick at Canvas chams in a few weeks.

Thanks :)
Tonight I hope to go get some lexan to put in instead of screen on the right side and front to create a humidity pocket like in the dragon strand enclosures. I also have two plastic vents to put on each side of the cabinet to help vent it some.

It's really handy having it on casters so I can roll it to the sink to clean it really good and easy.
