New babies from local show

I picked up a beautiuful 2 month old healthy girl Veiled from the show and the last hour before the show closed I traded a BTS for a pair of teeny tiny veileds.
I am concerned with the tiny female. It may be normal for babies but its been a while since I have delt with cham babies. The male is more calm and green most of the time but he does get very greyish pale in color but for the most part he is green but the top of his head is not shaped like the rest of the babies. His is lumpy.
She is never green she is white and pale orange. Both ate a bunch the first night and today not as eager to eat as the first night. I have some flies being delivered tomorrow.
I just want to know if the color of babies varies or if this is a sign of sickness and shape of head?
They move a lot so the pics are not the best since my flash does not work they are not focused that well.
The first three pictures are the female and the rest are of the male. If you can see the shape of his head.

i dont know abouth the chams...are your purple leafed plants in the last pics real? If so, what plant is it?

Yes it is real. It is a Swiss Chard plant. My dragons love to eat Swiss Chard so I figured it was okay to use. I have my 2 month old baby in her own cage with Pothos.

A lumpy casque usually mean metabolic bone disease, but I'm not familiar with young babies...

What do you mean:A lumpy casque usually mean metabolic bone disease. I dont know what is lumpy casque is. Can you make an example for me. MY cham have white things on its head.

I am not sure how to guess the age on these kids. The tiny babies bodies are just under 1.5 inches nose to vent and the bigger baby I bought her body is just slightly over 2 inches nose to vent. I figured at least 8 weeks for her since she is much hardier looking then these guys but really I am guessing and have no knowledge to back it up.
Any help on these babies would be great. I will be ordering some screen cages next week. I have these two in a 10 gallon and the other one in a 55 tall. I know screen is the best and I will move them soon.

Glass is fine for them as babies, which Yours are probably between 4-6 weeks old. Make sure your supplements and UVB are correct and whatever lumpy-ness there is in your baby's casque should begin to go away. Do any of his limbs kind of bow instead of being straight?

No all the legs are straight. I did not think a baby this young would have progressed MBD to cause deformities so soon. I hope it goes away too.
Is the color of the female normal for a baby or does it represent sickness?
I have been giving them calcium daily and other then 1/8 crix and flies not sure what else is small enough for them.
I have a water drip all day and mist two times a day. I change out the paper towel from the bottom of the cages every evening so there is nothing wet when they sleep. Anymore advice would be welcomed.
They both have UVB and temps are perfect. The larger tank has MVB and the smaller tank has linear 10.0 by zoomed.
Any tweaks that can be done to improve these babies environment and health let me know.
Thanks for all the advice!

A 10.0 is a bit much, and babies shouldn't have drip sytems till they're older. They can choke, wait a month or two. What are the temps? And Is it plain calcium?

The female may just be getting used to her environment.

I will stop the drips. The UVB is on a screen lid and about 8-10 inches from them but if it is to strong I will change it. The hot side is about 95 and the cool side on the 10gallon is 80 degrees. The larger tank with the single baby in it is 98 on the hottest point and under the large pothos is 78. There is a huge temp gradient in that plant. She is doing great and I am not worried about the larger one my son named Cleo. Its Lilo and Stitch that concern me being so small. I wish I could house them together with Cleo because I think they would enjoy Cleo's set up better with that huge plant. I am guessing Cleo is probably to big being twice their size to house them with her...

Woah! That's WAY WAY WAY too hot for all of them. Bring it down to 80 at the hottest place for all of them. That may be why she's a weird color. They can overdose on d3, you need a plain calcium supplement to use at most feedings, calcium without d3 twice a month, and vitamins twice a month.

EDIT: when the male becomes 6-9 months old, you can raise his temp to 90. This is a great site, esspecially for females! http://raisingkittytheveiledchameleon.blogspot.com/

I will definitely drop the temps tomorrow and switch to plain calcium. So much for reading a billion care sheets.lol That is why I like forums.
I use to keep my chams around the low 90 range in the hot area but I have never had babies this tiny before and I will drop the temps tomorrow. What about night time? I have a night bulb on the 10 gallon keeping it at 72is and a ceramic heat emitter on the large cage to keep it in the low 70's. Should I let them completely cool down at night? Our house is cold like 67-68 degrees.

As long as it doesn't drop below 60, you're fine. I'd try to keep it around 65 or higher though. The temp drop is good for them and the night bulbs aren't natural as they disrupt sleep, so only use ceramic heaters if you really need to. It's best to just raise the rooms temp.

I have a little heater in the room too. I will go flip the light off and the heater on.
Sheesh I was on my way to roasting these poor babies. Thanks for the info and helping me out. There is not to much info on small babies to read but more general info. I have owned a couple veileds before but more panthers and all were adults except one baby. She was no where near this tiny. They are smaller way smaller then my bearded dragon hatchlings.
I am use to desert lizards and I guess I was trying to keep them warm like my uros, dragons and frillies.
I am so glad I decided to hop on tonight. Thanks!!

Sure! That link I posted earlier is really good for females. Tells you how to make them live longer, healthier lives. :)

Thanks, I am already reading and poking around the site. I need to read a ton since I seem to know nothing anymore.lol Its been a while since I had a cham.:D
