Here's my new baby flap-neck, bought him yesterday.
I think he's the cutest little thing.

Ohh, he goes the most beautiful colour when he's asleep!
(this was night time, he's not slept during the day)

Great cham, i am worried about the black cricket you have in there. From what i have heard those types are agressive to the chams. I have heard they bite your cham. i would use the light brown tannish colored crickets. But nice cham

I'd heard that too about the larger crickets, but these are about 2mm big, and I've been told they don't bite when they're so small. I'll get the brown ones anyway, thanks!

I concur. He IS the cutest thing! Have fun with him.

I'm envious that you guys can get the black crickets; I wouldn't stop using them completely. Use both the blacks and the browns. A variety is good for chameleons.

Just remember, the brown ones will bite too. And in my experience, only an incapacitated animal will suffer from insect bites.

Black crickets are known to bite try picking one up and holding it then decide if u would put it in your chams cage. i have had no problem with the brown ones but black ones are the feeder insect of the devil if u do use them put one in at a time and watch it carefully.

Regardless of color or biting, I wouldn't leave food of any kind in the cage with the cham other than when it's feeding time.

He is cute. How old?
