New cage / drainage ideas!!

Hey all, im planning a new build for my veiled and a panther..

Im planning to use this shower base as the main element of my enclosure..
It is 48 inches by 34 inches..

So i plan to make it at least 48" tall and separate it in half with a solid partition to house two chameleons. Each partition will have 2 solid walls to retain moisture levels.

I have a mistking setup right now that will work great with this setup..

Im shure there will be more than anough room for 2 chams and it will be easy to devise drainage..

I was at home depot trying to figure out drainage for my current setup and had a flash of genius when i saw the shower base :)

I figured someone could benefit from this and would make drainage problems a thing of the past haha..

Yeah i will house them together, but separated.. If its separated in half , each partition will be 24"x34"x48" the partition will be solid so the chams cannot see each other.. Should work out ok.

If you are particularly handy, you could also make a box from wood and just line it with the pvc shower pans that are much cheaper and work just as well. Just throwing some ideas around, but other than that it should be good.

Thats kinda what i have setup right now, but with plastic,

the shower base would just be more aesthetically pleasing and the water is routed to a regular drain that can be routed to direct plumbing or a catch system of some sort..

Who would have ever thought i would be setting up indoor plumbing for my chameleon hahah.. Theyr spoiled man..

Yea they are spoiled! I have mine with pvc liner and a drain that goes outside! The look on my mothers face was priceless when she saw it lol
