If your not 100% sure listen to the chameleon podcast... awesome to listen too....

Live plants help keep humidity up.

If you look at my profile pic. Basking is in the middle on the left of the tank.

Basically as long as you avhieve the appropriate humidity at temperature levels with plants/foilage you will have success.

If you have any querstions dont be afraid to ask some ppl can be mean, but I always like to think better to ask first than to find out the hard way.

Pic for my baby panther chameleon I just setup:

Is that enough sticks and horizontal branches for a Cham? I've seen many noobs request input on their cage "setup" and the usual comment is that there is not enough horizontal climbing available. Your pic looks very plush and nice, but I'm not seeing a lot horizontal branches. Since Chams are tree dwellers, they like to go up high, I would have assumed there would be more up towards the top (taking into account the safety space needed to prevent burning from the basking light) so that a Cham can climb.

Mine is far from perfect, but it works.

@Lennoncham What are you using for a drainage pan? Thanks.[/QUOTE]

It's actually an ebb and flow table from the hydroponics store around the corner from me. Works great.

I am still working on mine and waiting for more plants to grow in, but yes I need more horizontal branches.
