well you cut it a little bigger than the cage so it kinda wedges in there. It might make the screen bulge a little on the side though. Or cut it so it fits perfect and then take push pins and attach on the outside of the screen and insert through the end of the branch.
I just used zip ties everything is super secure! First things first don't put any soil at the bottom of your new enclosure keep it bare, wont have any problems with impaction then! Don't want your cham swallowing soil!
Lots of folks use the thumb tacks through the screen wire. The zip ties work also. One other idea is to put eye-hooks through the top frame and hang plastic chains down them. then use cup-hooks, or zip ties to attach them to the chain. That keeps the branches from stretching the side screening. How about another back board in the new cage and mount the branches on it? There's a dozen different ways you could do this. Let's see some pictures when you decide. Good luck!
