Just because you don't see him go down there, doesn't mean he can't. He can easily walk down the screen and eat some up. Cup feeding doesn't have that much to do with it. I suggest listening to the experts on this forum, they know what they're talking about, and with an attitude it makes them not want to help if you lash out at them. The goal of an enclosure is not to look good, it's to be a sustainable habitat for your chameleon(not just any lizard, an exotic and delicate chameleon).

So I can just not put anything down and just have the white plastic as the bottom? Wont like ruin it from drainage and what not?

That is what people were telling you, but you were too busy being rude to those of us offering suggestions and advice! The bare floor makes it easy to just wipe up the mess. All you have to do is drill a couple of holes in the bottom to make a drain and put your planter in the middle but raise it up to let the water go underneath it and drain out. The dirt is actually HARDER to clean, and like we said before, it will lead to impacted bowels, causing the death of your cham.

Trust me, no one is trying to be rude to you or make you feel stupid, we are all just trying to help.

Also, for future reference, if you have any questions, just ask. It is better to ask beforehand and learn from other peoples experiences than to have to figure out where you went wrong. We all have made mistakes, it is good that you are learning from them.
