Im new to this so here I go,

I bought a cham recently for the first time and he ate for the first 2 days and today he isn't eating, he kinda ignores the crickets, do they always eat everyday? I just let the crickets roam the cage.

Also my humidity gage reads 41, normally its over 50, why is it so low all of a sudden and how do I fix that?

PS. My cham is only about the size of my finger.

Do you have proper lighting for him both uva and uvb?? Seeing that you just got him, it is not abnormal for him not to eat much or eat at first then not for a few days. He should pick up eating again soon. As far as the humidity, you can run a dripper all day to help, but you have to have some kind of drainage set up if you do. People also wrap three sides with garbage bags or shower curtain to help maintain humidity. Live plants help also.

He's eating again, maybe he just wasn't hungry and yes I have both uva and uva, and I have a Monsoon auto mister. It's just weird because the humidity was 50-60 most of the time and now its always 40.

Not sure where you are located but in the winter here it gets dry inside. Try to keep him away from a heat duct/vent and if you have sufficient drainage mist him more often in the winter.

How are you measuring humidity? Sometimes the dial ones get stuck, and aren't very accurate. Kath.
