I went to a local reptile store today and ended up taking home a 2yr panther that someone someone had left there. The owner of the store said that the chams previous owner said it had gotten into a fight with another male and part of its tale was damaged at the end and its falling off. He seems to be in good health but i was woundering if anyone had any suggestionsas to what to put on the tail to help heeling?

You can use flamazine (which you will likely need a prescription for) or silvadene. There are others, but I think these are the best.

It might be worth putting it on an oral antibiotic for a while to make sure that it hasn't got an infection due to the damage.

If the chameleon starts to go downhill get it to a vet right away.
