New Chameleon, New Setup

Hello everyone!! I had a Jackson's Chameleon but he recently passed away after about a year. So I just wanted some expert options on the setup for my new veiled chameleon. He is eatting on wax worms. He ate three big worms over the span of 2 days so I think he is adjusting fine and has already pooed. He has a uvb bulb up top along with a ceramic heater and it is about an inch away from the top screen. He is in a medium size reptibreeze. I put some cling wrap on the outside to help hold heat and humidity. The front screen is open along with the bottom sides of the cage and top to allow some breeze. Info on the Chameleon is also appreciated. The bottom of his cage has coconut husk to help soak up water after misting. His feed cup is located in the center. Any other ideas or options are appreciated.

He looks pretty heathy right now, just remember to the wax worms extremely sparingly because he'll get fat on those fast. I highly recommend a lot more coverage at the top of the cage he needs privacy to feel safe in his new home. A live pothos plant can grow under the ubv light.
Also why is the water bowel there, I don't see a dripper dripping in it and feeders will drown in it easily. If it is a bowl for feeders good luck keeping them in it.

The bowl of water to be honest was just random. I have a lot of different reptiles and I put it in there just because I was tired of moving it around the room. His feeder cup is the plastic one suspended on a vine. I know crickets are good for the veiled but what else can I use? Are dubia roaches okay? Or are they too hard shelled?

Dubias are awesome daily feeders,my Panther loves them! Superworms,hornworms, phoenix worms, just to name a few are good feeders for your veiled

Good deal just take it slow and start by hand feeding the cham it'll help establish a trust or ease hopefully.

Firstly I'd get rid of the bottom coconut substrate, its a grow spot for mold as is the water dish. Live plants are always a plus and a dripper is very handy. You can have some sort of catch container for it just so it's not making a mess. He looks great and good luck to you
