Nobody was criticising you. You came onto the forum, as a new member, saying that your previous chameleon had died and, despite not having access to an experienced herp vet, you had now bought another. You then went on to say that you had kept your previous chameleon with a frog.
Myself and other, much much more experienced keepers, tried to offer some advice on the keeping of chameleons, to assist you and to maybe avoid any problems with your new chameleon, but in return have had posts full of swear words and hostile replies.
If you are so certain that you are doing everything right, why did you come on here in the first place?
This is not about keeping chameleons "our way" - this forum is not some secret society. It is merely a meeting place for people all around the world, who have a common love of these unique lizards, to share advice, help with problems and to also share the highlights of keeping chameleons. However, as a result, what you have is a community of chameleon keepers that know every last thing there is to know in order to keep a chameleon happy and healthy. The advice that you were given, not by me, I hasten to add, but by other members, who have successfully been keeping chameleons for years, is sound. It is entirely your choice if you don't want to follow it.
To start swearing at people who are trying to give you help, because in your perception we are preaching at you and accusing you of not knowing what you are doing, is not fair. Nobody was doing that.
I am not an experienced keeper by any stretch of the imagination compared with some on here, but I have two chameleons that I work very very hard to keep successfully. Largely, the reason that I have been successful thus far, is down to the information and people on this forum who are there to offer advice.
This is my last post on this matter, as I do not like being attacked for merely trying to help.
