New Cricket Container

Hey Everyone!

I just made a new cricket container. It's a bigger plastic tote where I cut a large hole in the top and two of the sides then duct taped aluminum screening to them from the inside and out. Do you think this is enough precaution? I'm paranoid the 500 crickets will escape...and it scares me. lol

should be fine but use hot glue instead way better cause if its hot the duct tape will problaly melt off or something and man ever time i make a new cricket container it ALWAYS gets infested with fruit flies and flies:mad: gets me mad

i too use hot glue for my tubs :):):):):) work great

could you make a fruitfly trap and but it in the container? it's just a cup with apple cider vinegar and something to cover it with fruitfly sized holes in it. works great as long as you cover it with something that the crickets cant chew through, and subsequently drown in.
