It still needs the screens and a few more coats of poly urethane to water proof it but what so you guys think? Dimensions will be 48" height x 42" wide x 25" deep and there is a central drainage system set up as well.

Love it! That is going to be sooo cool! Are you cutting out part of the top for lighting? I would also love to see how you did your drainage.

Yep already cut out the top for lighting but it's hidden from view by the crown molding. And I'll get picks of the drainage system next time I'm around it.

Nothing to speak of. It's still sitting at my friends house waiting to be finished. The biggest hiccup is finding a place for it in my current apt. I think I just thought of how to rearrange my living space to accommodate it. If I have then it should be up and running in a month or so.

Update: It's 90% finished and moved into my apt! just have to wait a few weeks for the waterproofing paint to cure completely and I need to install the screens.

Also here's the drainage system the I built in. The enclosure is slightly tilted to the back and then is funneled to the drain which empties into a bucket underneath.

Very cool! I scanned craigslist from multiple states looking for a deal on something like this.... I ended up going with the XL cage from DIY...
