In order to make the best possible enclosure for your cham, you need to have several things:
PLANTS. Real or fake. Both are great. If you are getting a veiled chameleon, usually get live plants.
Mister. Essential to a chameleon's health. If you can't get a automated mister (like a MistKing) get a pressurized hand spritzer until you can get one.
If the cham is a female, she will need a laying bin to lay her eggs in.
humidity and temperature gages. Something tells me that you have no idea how hot/cold it is in there, exactly.
Just one more thing:
Are the lights inside the enclosure? From one of the pictures it looks like they are, this is NOT good. A cham seeking more heat may burn his/herself on the light.
looks like its coming along nicely for a custom enclosure. Just as everyone mentioned though you are lacking some vitals in the cage. just a tip. you can stick with the amount of exo terra vines you have and twist them around a bit..chameleons like horizontal climbing, they like climbing high up and then horizontal. so just straighten those out a bit and it would give him more stable walking pathways, not just all hanging. looks cool, just tweak it a bit. Also, if you plan on leaving your cham in that cage 99% of the time then i would loose that soil. Sometimes feeders get loose or if you let them loose so you cham can hunt they may sometimes go for one that is on some of the soil. good luck on your completion, i am sure it will turn out fine. post some pictures if you want any input.
