Hi All
I'm still newbie-ish here. I was looking up some info on Aquazamp stuff and found myself reading some of the enclosure threads. They all look great!!
A few weeks ago we had the reptile show at the Santa Clara Fair Grounds, I met up with Kevin to pick up my RO system and shop a bit. I picked up a nice juvie male Ambilobe Panther Cham, and a few other necessities for my other herps. I forget who I got him from, soon as I find the info I'll add it.
So on the way home I pickup my old (surviving) cham enclosure from my parents house. Last time I had chameleons, CiN was still an active & functioning group. This was only temporary while I built up a more appropriate enclosure.
Here is my old old enclosure that I kept my juvies over 15yrs ago.
I dont have any in progress pictures here is the new enclosure, measures 2'x2'x4'. I used 1x2 pine which was pretty cheap (and very warped) and 1/4" pine for the bottom.
I use 1/8 or 1/4 hardware cloth that has been epoxy painted. I have had devastating results with screen cages. My female Veiled lost all of here toe nails to the point where she could not hold on to anything, as a result she stressed and died. So no more screen for me...
Here is one of "Popcorn"
My girlfriend named him because of the ruckuss he was making in the bag when we brought him home.
And few of my reptile-computer-hobby room. Its a work in progress, still need to complete setting up my Ecozone & Aquazamp system.
in no particular order: 2 Jungle Carpet Pythons, 1 Green Tree Python, 4 Crested Geckos, 1 Nu Ami Leachie from deVosjoli, 2 adopted ball pythons, 2 mourning geckos, and a wc black widow.
